Saddlers Quay is set in the heart of Walsall Town Centre, located fronting the canal, and forms an integral part of the Walsall Masterplan redevelopment project. Total Homes negotiated a subject to planning agreement with two separate owners of the derelict warehouses which historically formed part of the Leatherworks industry which was prevalent in the area. Planning permission was granted at the first attempt for a landmark scheme of 222 private units, within walking distance of the main shopping centre of Walsall along with Walsall train station with its direct services into Birmingham. Construction is due to begin on site in 2024.
